PEYC Race Results
Port Edgar Yacht Club is in South Queensferry Scotland. They have many activities including racing yachts and dinghies on the Firth of Forth near the Forth Road Bridge and the Forth Bridge.
Mitredata developed a website for PEYC which:
- displays race results and also calculates results for race series.
- The site generates special race day information in PDF format to aid race officers with information about the scheduled races, forcast tide heights and tidal current strength.
- Summary data for each boat is available which including graphs of performance data generated from race results. The are generated on demand from the database using the GD library.
The site was developed using MySQL, PHP and is hosted on a Linux server using Apache.
